Alpine Solar & Alternative Energy is a Park City business and our focus is here. A Park City resident for over 20 years, Dave Kalinski sold his successful landscaping business in 2009 to jump into the future of energy — solar power. He worked with Utah Solar and Alternative Energy to learn the business, receiving certification from the North American Certified Board of Energy Practitioners. All the while, he’s been taking every available class and staying current on every advance in the industry. Seeing the need for a Park City solar provider, he opened Alpine Solar & Alternative Energy in 2015.
“This wasn’t just a business decision for me; it’s a personal choice to help my customers feel good about where their energy is coming from, and to save a bunch of money at the same time.” Dave explains. “My house has been a combination of solar and geothermal since 2009, and in just those six or seven years the industry has advanced by leaps and bounds. I want to help each residential and commercial customer get as excited as I am about the potential of solar and alternative energy. At the end of the day, it’s the only way this country can go.”
